The picture above is an actual representation of where Hurricane Jose is going. The stories are flowing everywhere that Hurricane Jose is going to hit the Jersey Shore. But as of right now the forecast is not projected to hit the shoreline of Jersey. The storm is currently still residing in the Atlantic Ocean. It is also around the Jersey through New England but not close to its coastline. In the article, it states this hurricane is "cone of uncertainty." (Hinchliffe, 2017) Even though it's in the ocean close to those areas, it will stay in the sea. The fake news come in because everyone sees that it will hit Jersey. The people in the state are quite in a panic just because they would never experience a hurricane. The posts about this hurricane hitting Jersey is heavily on Facebook and around different social media and even in magazines. In the article, the meteorologists are not happy that a major city magazine had a news story about the hurricane hitting Jersey. If the posts are written as a mistake, it's still freaking out the Jersey citizens, and it's quite dangerous. The state will experience some rain and winds but nothing compared to a hurricane hitting the state. SO WATCH OUT FOR FAKE FORECAST/NEWS!
